It's been a few days since we finished the very long, and very rigorous shoot of "Forget-Me-Not" (pardon the delay, I needed the time to sleep), and I'm happy to report that the footage is looking great! The gang came together in Providence for three nights of action-packed filmmaking with help from our friends from Boston University, Wesleyan, and RISD, the incredible Cory Zapatka, and the wonderful Michael Flowers.
Over the course of the three days we filmed at six locations, covering a total of twelve pages, an ambitious venture, but ultimately very fruitful. Spoilers: look forward to lightsaber battles, heaps of toys, nets, and vomit in this upcoming short film. Truly, everything one could want from an adaptation of Peter Pan! If that doesn't pique your curiosity, I don't know what will.
Over the next few weeks, I'll be working day in and day out on the post-production on "Forget-Me-Not", with a working draft finished by April 15th, and the polished film done soon after that. I can't wait to share what we've filmed with all of you. It was a thrill to shoot, and I know it will be even more fun to watch when it's done. Hopefully we'll be visiting some festivals with "Forget-Me-Not", "One Short Sleep Past", and "Solomon" in the near future. In the meantime, enjoy this picture of us hard at work!
