In 1930s Central Europe, Ulrike and her faithful dog Müzzi climb the treacherous Inconceivable Mountain, hoping to rescue her hometown from a state of grave decline. Yet encountering a mystical, shifting environment and a figure from a bygone war, Ulrike finds herself in a world between life and death. Suddenly, the film is transported to a different mountain and a different time, where Müzzi the dog must make sense of history, power, and filmmaking.
